GSC News:
Welcome to GSC
GSC is proud to be ISO 9000 and AS 9100 compliant. In October, 1999 GSC
received the ISO and AS 9000 certifications. We have also received Boeing
D1-9000 Rev A, Level 7 certification and our Nadcap Certification 2nd Quarter
2002. This is a tremendous milestone for us and we are proud to have brought
our quality systems up to this level. We hope that we will be able to expand
our customer base to industries that recognize the benifits of using vendors
that have made this commitment to quality.

GSC originated in Southern California in 1966 under
the co-ownership of Herbert Christian and Richard Fehr. In 1979 the partners
started an off-shoot facility in Ogden, Utah. In 1981, Herbert Christian and
Richard Fehr dissolved the partnership, with Herbert Christian and family
becoming the sole owners of the Ogden facility, and Richard Fehr retaining the
California facility, whose name was changed to PAC.
GSC chose the Ogden, Utah location because of the beautiful environment,
recreational activities, strong work ethic, local and state support, and the
new Ogden Commercial and Industrial Park, with its availability of land and
encouragement of incoming business. This has been a great benefit to GSC, now
under roof with over 160,000 square feet of functioning facilities, and several
acres of land still available for future expansion.
The corporate entity of GSC FOUNDRIES, INC. consists of several buildings in
proximity: The Steel Division; The Aluminum Division; The Machining and
Assembly Division; The Education/Training Center; and Central Administration.
Employing approximately 400 of the finest engineers, foundry workers,
machinists, and support personnel in the industry, this team of trained experts
is enhanced by state-of-the-art equipment. On-going training classes and Kaizen
events in all aspects of the investment casting business are held on-site for
continual personal development.
We welcome your visit to GSC, easily accessible in about 40 minutes
from the Salt Lake International Airport via Interstate I-15 North. Please
contact us for specific directions, or see our map on the company info page.
